Congrats to Trevin Garcia on his successful completion of the McNairs Scholar Program!!

Monday, 4/23/ 18 we had a chance to celebrate Trevin’s graduation from the McNair’s scholar program. Trevin will be going on to study linguistics at KU on a prestigious fellowship. We are so proud of the work he’s done on Latinx English in Southwest Kansas. His work contributes to our understanding of contact influences on language variation in New Destination communities that have experienced rapid demographic shifts. We can’t wait to see what he does next!
